About me

Let me tell you something about myself. My name is Tom Snauwaert. At the time of writing this introduction, I am 49 years old. I am married and I have three adorable children: one boy and two girls. I was born, raised and still live in the Flanders region of Belgium. I consider myself to be a family man, business man and ICT'er, although I might mix the order up sometimes...

My hobbies are walking and hiking, preferably with my wife and children. I love to travel too. When there is time and opportunity, I like to get involved in building construction projects. Acting as a seasoned DIY'er enables me to set all work-related worries aside while doing physical exercise. I also enjoy listening to music, mostly in the background when I am working, or when I'm on the road.

Although I work a lot, I do not consider myself to be a workaholic. My family, friends and colleagues do not always agree with this statement however. I work as an independent ICT consultant, mainly offering professional services to large corporations. Interbyte, the company that I work for, also delivers a wide variety of ICT services to small and medium sized enterprises.
